Joanna Clarke’s Driving School is located in Béal Átha An Ghaorthaidh, Ballingeary County Cork and run by Joanna Clarke who is a fully qualified and RSA approved driving instructor (ADI 38796) and an Irish School of Motoring Instructor. Joanna has been successfully providing category B car driving lessons and a high pass rate at test since 2004 having first worked as a driving instructor in the UK before moving her driving school to Co Cork in 2014. Joanna provides one-to-one driving instruction in a calm, patient and friendly environment which makes her driving school an excellent choice for learner drivers, especially nervous drivers. In addition to preparing pupils for their driving test Joanna aims to prepare her pupils for a lifetime of safe driving.
In addition to standard car driving lessons Joanna Clarke’s Driving School provides mock test, pre-test lessons and the full EDT program for learner drivers of all ages and all levels of driving ability and post test motorway lessons along with refresher and motorway lessons for full license holders and familiarisation to driving in Ireland training for European drivers.
Joanna Clarke’s Driving School is based on the belief that a customers' needs are of the utmost importance. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from recommendations. Everybody learns differently and every pupil has their own very specific needs. We work hard to identify what these needs are and tailor training around them. Whatever route we take to get there we aim to provide not just a pass at test but the basis on which to build safe driving for life. Driving is a great life skill and opens up the door to freedom and independence.
BIOGRAPHY - Is mise Joanna
Joanna Clarke’s Driving School is an independent driving school that is operating an ISM franchise in Co Cork since 2014, where all lessons are carried out by the owner Joanna Clarke. Joanna has been a registered driving instructor since 2004 and ran Joanna's School of Motoring in the UK from 2007 to 2013 before coming to Ireland to teach in 2014. Joanna says "Before setting up Joanna Clarke's Driving School in Éire in 2014 I had my own driving school Joanna's School of Motoring in the UK which I set up in 2007. Prior to this I was a franchised instructor for AA driving school. I have taught many pupils over the years in UK and Ireland and enjoy seeing their skills and confidence develop because I know the huge difference to their life safe driving can make. Prior to becoming a driving instructor I worked as a retail manager for over 10 years so I am used to delivering high standards of customer service."
